Shavkat Mirziyoyev expresses his gratitude to outgoing Japanese Emperor Akihito

On April 30, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has sent a letter to outgoing Japanese Emperor Akihito, the presidential press service said.
The head of state noted in his message that the era of Emperor Akihito “Heisei” is known throughout the world as a time of outstanding achievements - lasting peace and all-round development of Japan, its inclusion in the number of leading economic powers, a significant increase in its prestige and role in global processes.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his sincere gratitude to the Emperor of Japan for his personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations and support of the multifaceted Uzbek-Japanese mutually beneficial cooperation based on the bonds of friendship, mutual respect and trust.
