Recently, social networks have published articles “Compulsory ticket for 35,000 soums” and “Compulsory ticket sold to teachers”. The information presented in these articles has been studied by the legal-control service of the Minister of Public Education, the information center of the Ministry reports.
In this process, it was found out that the Kashkadarya regional department of public education, the leadership of the public education department in Karshi city, directors of secondary schools and organizers of the concert program forcibly involved teachers in a concert focusing on their personal interests.
In particular, in Karshi city, acting director of the secondary public school #23 R. N. and director of the secondary public school #19 S. A. conspired with the concert organizer to gain 5000-soum personal income from selling each ticket worth 35,000 soums. Then they forcibly sold 100 tickets to teachers.
After intervention of the employees of legal-control service, school principals returned the funds, collected from the “illegal business”.
On the abovementioned facts, the deputy head of the Karshi city department of public education R. J. was reprimanded as a disciplinary action. Acting director of secondary public school #23 R. N. has been dismissed from his post. Director of the secondary public school #19 S. A. has been under medical treatment since May 8 of this year because of poor health. So, it was decided that disciplinary sanctions will be postponed.
Currently, the issue of imposing disciplinary sanctions against the deputy head of the Kashkadarya regional department of public education B. U. and the head of the Karshi city public education department B. E. is being considered.
