Belarusian military arrive in Uzbekistan to participate in joint exercises

On May 17, servicemen of the Republic of Belarus arrived in the Fergana region to participate in the joint military-special exercises “Combat Commonwealth - 2019”, the press service of the Defense Ministry reported.

22 servicemen under the command of Colonel Oleg Kostromin will take part in joint exercises, which will be held at the “Gurumsaray” training camp (Namangan region) from May 20 to 27, 2019.

The exercises will be organized according to a plan of practical measures to further improve security cooperation, signed between the two states.
