Shavkat Mirziyoyev welcomes participants of the V International MGIMO Alumni Forum
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev welcomed the participants of the V International MGIMO Alumni Forum and expressed hope that the branch of the university, which will be opened in Tashkent, will become the regional educational center in the field of international relations. The President's greeting was read by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.
“MGIMO is a global brand that confirms traditionally high quality of the Russian higher education. Its graduates from different countries are true professionals with deep, fundamental knowledge and broad outlook,” the President said.
In his opinion, university graduates are able to make effective decisions in difficult situations of modern global politics.
“For many years MGIMO has contributed to training of specialists in Uzbekistan in the field of international relations, law and economics. More than 400 Uzbeks have graduated from this reputable institute,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
During his greeting, the President stressed that in September of this year, a MGIMO branch will be opened in Tashkent, which will become an integral part of higher education in Uzbekistan and a regional educational center in the field of international relations.
