Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev to visit Uzbekistan on May 29-30
On May 29-30, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev will visit Uzbekistan.
“Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov will hold the first meeting of the joint commission at the level of heads of government of Russia and Uzbekistan,” the Russian government said.
Medvedev is also scheduled to meet with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the talks, it is planned to discuss a wide range of topical issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, investment, scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian fields. Implementation of major joint projects in energy, industry, transport, high technologies and agriculture will also be considered.
Within the framework of the visit, joint documents on cooperation in various fields are expected to be signed.
