President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Bishkek to attend the regular meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State, the presidential press service reported.
The summit will discuss issues of further development and strengthening of multilateral cooperation, including in the field of politics, economics and security. There will also be an exchange of views on topical issues of an international and regional nature.
At the summit, adoption of the Bishkek Declaration, signing of a package of documents aimed at expanding the partnership within the organization, including building up inter-regional relations, cooperation in the areas of information and communication technologies, ecology, tourism, sports and others are planned.
The President of Uzbekistan will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with the heads of foreign delegations.
