Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Vladimir Putin discuss strengthening bilateral relations
Today, June 17, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation, the Kremlin press service reports.
“During a telephone conversation between the Presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, issues regarding the development of bilateral talks held on the margins of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Bishkek were discussed,” the message reads.
It should be recalled that on June 14, the participants of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Bishkek signed 22 joint documents aimed at developing partnership between the member countries in various fields and interaction of the SCO with other international structures. Furthermore, during the meeting, the heads of states adopted the Bishkek Declaration.
At the suggestion of the President of Uzbekistan, the Concept of Cooperation in the Field of Digitalization and Information and Communication Technologies was approved, as well as the Program for the Development of Interregional Cooperation of the SCO Member States.
