Mirziyoyev speaks about $80 million bribes in the construction of the Ustyurt gas chemical complex

Today, June 21, delivering a speech at the 20th plenary session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis, Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke about the corruption in the oil and gas sector, Kun.uz correspondent reported.

“For 20 years, 50% of all projects in the oil and gas sector have been bribed. At the Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex, one official received $80 million in bribe. Who will think about the people?!” the president said.

Earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev criticized prosecution authorities for bribery.
