Uzbekistan Airways to launch direct flights to Munich
Uzbekistan Airways intends to launch a direct flight to Munich from April 2020, the director of the commercial department of the NAC Shukhrat Khudaykulov stated.
“Currently, the issue of launching a direct flight to Munich is being worked out. It is scheduled for April 2020 and connected with the seasonality of flights,” Khudaykulov noted, Sputnik said.
There are many museums and ancient buildings in Munich. In particular, the “Oktoberfest” annual festival brought worldwide fame to the capital of the federal state of Bavaria.
Shukhrat Khudaykulov also noted that the airline company is planning to actively increase the number of flights to Jakarta.
“Now there are two flights a week via Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). We have planned to split these flights in the future and operate them separately to Kuala Lumpur and to Jakarta. At the same time, we intend to carry out 4 flights to Jakarta per week,” he said.
Earlier, the NAC announced the resumption of charter flights on the route Tashkent-Khabarovsk-Tashkent from July 8. Direct flights between the cities have not been operated since July last year.
