Uzbek military to participate in Belarus Independence Day parade
Military from Uzbekistan will perform at the parade of the Independence Day of Belarus on July 3, reform.by reports with reference to the spokesman for the main department of the ideological work of the Defense Ministry Vladimir Makarov.
This year’s parade will be devoted to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus during the World War II.
“This year the parade will begin with the flight of aviation. In the sky over the capital city, citizens and guests will see modern combat helicopters and aircraft of Belarus and Russia,” Makarov said.
More than 3,000 soldiers, 280 wheeled and tracked vehicles, about 50 aircraft and helicopters will take part in the parade.
Reportedly, in addition to Russia and China, for the first time, landmark groups from the armed forces of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will participate in the event.
