Mortality rate in Uzbekistan in H1 2019 announced

In January-June 2019, 75,800 death cases were registered in Uzbekistan with the mortality rate being 4.6 pro mil, it remained at the same level in comparison with the corresponding period of 2018 (4.6 pro mil in January-June 2018).
In January 2019, 62.1% of death cases were caused by diseases of the circulatory system, 9.5% - tumors, 5.3% - digestive organs, 4.5% - respiratory diseases, 5.4% - accidents, poisoning and injuries, 1.4% - infectious and parasitic diseases, and 11.8% - other diseases.
Reportedly, the total number of registered deaths for children under the age of 1 year was 3,400. Of these, 55.3% were caused by the cases of perinatal period, 20.4% - respiratory diseases, 13.3% - congenital anomalies, 2.2% - accidents, poisonings and injuries, 2.4% - infectious and parasitic diseases, 0.8% - digestive diseases, 5.6% - other diseases.
