Educational services market in Uzbekistan hits UZS 14.5 trillion in Jan-Apr 2026
The total volume of educational services provided across Uzbekistan reached UZS 14.5 trillion during the first four months of 2026, according to the latest data from the National Statistics Committee. This performance represents a substantial 22.6% increase compared to the corresponding period in 2025.
Higher education continues to be the primary economic driver within the sector. Services provided by higher education institutions claimed the largest share of the market, accounting for 43.3% of the total volume
A regional breakdown of the data shows a significant concentration of these services in the capital city, while the remaining volume was distributed across the provinces and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The figures show a stark geographical imbalance, with Tashkent city alone generating more educational service volume than all other regions of the country combined.
