Shavkat Mirziyoyev gives instructions on reconstruction of Samarkand international airport

Within the framework of his visit to the Samarkand region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the reconstruction project of the Samarkand international airport, the presidential press service said.

In accordance with the instructions of the head of state, it is planned to build another terminal, reconstruct the runway, expand aircraft parking and upgrade radar systems. The new terminal will meet all international requirements and serve 600 passengers per hour.

The President gave directives for the introduction of modern management at the airport, increasing the number of trains and buses on routes during the renovation, creating additional amenities for the population and tourists.
