Several officials dismissed from office in Samarkand following Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit

In the Jambay district of the Samarkand region, the khokim, the prosecutor, the chief tax officer and the chief policeman were fired, Kun.uz source reported. 

It should be recalled that on July 26, the President of Uzbekistan held a meeting with regional activists, sector leaders, aksakals, farmers and entrepreneurs in the Samarkand district.

According to the source, after the President’s visit to Samarkand, the khokim of the Jambay district Umidjon Nazarov, the prosecutor, the head of the district tax inspectorate and the chief policeman left their posts.

In addition, khokim of the Samarkand district Shukhrat Jamolov was also dismissed.
