Uzbekistan, Belarus to strengthen cooperation in ICT
Uzbekistan and Belarus plan to step up cooperation in information and communication technologies, BelTA reports with reference to the Communications and Informatization Ministry of Belarus.
Communication issues were in focus of the talks between Belarusian Communications and Informatization Minister Konstantin Shulgan and Shuhrat Sadikov, Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan. The meeting was held on 29 July and was attended by heads of interested organizations from both countries.
The parties discussed the current state of cooperation in the field of communications and informatization, and reconciled an inter-ministerial draft agreement to promote cooperation in ICT. The document is to be signed on 1 August in the presence of the leaders of the two countries.
