A government decree “On amendments and addenda to the administrative regulation on provision of public services for the admission of children to secondary public educational institutions” has been adopted, the Justice Ministry said.

According to the decree, schools will accept documents from children, who do not fall into the main quota for the corresponding micro-district, depending on their admission capabilities.

Previously, an additional quota was allocated based on the admission capabilities of schools for school-age children living outside the micro-district, children under the school age (who are 6 years old as of September 1 of the corresponding year), living in the micro-district and outside, as well as children who do not have initial knowledge (communication skills) in the language of education at schools.

Now, the admission of children to schools at an additional quota will be carried out by school principals.

Previously, this process was carried out through State Services Centers.

It was determined that the admission of children to schools at an additional quota will be carried out on August 10-31.

The admission fee to schools at an additional quota has also been canceled.

Previously, it was reported that for admission to schools at an additional quota, a fee of at least ten MMW would be charged per child.
