Car number plates worth about 3 billion soums sold through online auction in a week

Over the period from August 19 to August 25, 2019, JSC UZEX concluded deals worth 856.1 billion soums, which exceeds the same indicator of the previous week by 11.9%. The total amount of transactions involving small businesses and private entrepreneurship amounted to 464 billion soums with an increase of 9.7%.

At the same time, the volume of exchange trading increased from 655.4 to 742.6 billion soums. On the foreign exchange trading platform, goods worth $2.9 million were sold, which is 31.8% more than a week earlier. In the export structure, the share of polyethylene was 63%, cotton fiber – 27%, and other products – 10%.

The volume of exhibition-fair trade amounted to 33.1 billion soums. The amount of goods purchased by small businesses amounted to 3.6 billion soums, or 10.1% of the total amount of transactions.

Last week, deals worth 77.4 billion soums were concluded through a special information portal on public procurement – xarid.uz. The total cost savings of budget and corporate customers exceeded 17.2 billion soums.

During the period under review, 682 automobile number plates were sold through an online auction and the total amount of income was about 3 billion soums. As a result of competitive bidding, premium class registration plates brought about 20.5% of the total income, while second (46.9%) and third (33.6%) category numbers made up the rest.
