Shavkat Mirziyoyev speaks with Alexander Lukashenko over the phone
On August 31, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has held a telephone conversation with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the presidential press service, at the start of the conversation, Mirziyoyev cordially congratulated Alexander Lukashenko on his birthday and wished him sound health, well-being and great success.
In turn, Lukashenko, expressing sincere gratitude for the kind wishes, congratulated the leader of our country and the multiethnic people of Uzbekistan on the Independence Day.
The parties noted with deep satisfaction the dynamics of bilateral relations in all spheres of contact.
It was especially noted that the fruitful outcomes of the first official visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Belarus, which took place a month ago, made it possible to bring the bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level and filled it with practical content.
The presidents considered issues of timely implementation of the agreements reached and documents inked, including in political, trade-economic, investment, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Alexander Lukashenko reaffirmed their strong commitment to further strengthening of friendly relations and partnership between the republics.
