Youth Union pledges to hand over homes to 630 young families by year end

A press conference with participation of Prosecutor General's Office and the Youth Union officials was held at the Agency for Information and Mass Communications on the topic “Formation of an active outlook and strong civic stand in the fight against corruption in youth”.

Journalists asked about the process of granting new apartment buildings to young families who have showed significant achievements in science, education, culture, arts and sports.

In particular, it has been noted that 630 young people, who are talented and active in social works, were given special certificates for the purchase of housing on preferential terms in the city of Tashkent in 2017, but they have not yet been granted any housing.

“In the first half of 2019, 150 young families were given houses built in Choshtepa. Most of them now live there,” head of the Youth Union's press service Nodir Abdukadirov said.

Executive officials have announced that the house is under construction now.

“They will be granted this year. No more delays. By the end of the year, all applicants who have applied, been registered and recommended will move to their promised homes. There is no problem at all. The Youth Union has paid the initial installments for the first 150 candidates. In September, the Union will also pay installments for more than 600 other young families that are on the list. We fulfill all our promises,” Nodir Abdukadirov noted.
