Flow of Russian tourists to Uzbekistan increases by 35% in H1 2019

The number of tourist trips from Russia to Uzbekistan increased by 35% in 2019, the tourist portal TourStat reports. The site presents the rating of countries of outbound tourism from Russia for the first half of 2019.

According to published data, Uzbekistan occupies the 39th place with 96,000 Russian tourist trips in the first half of 2019, which is 35% more than in the first half of 2018.

The rating is based on the analysis of statistics on outbound tourist trips from Russia for the first six months of the year.

The total number of outbound tourist trips of Russians abroad for the first six months of the year amounted to 19 million 891 thousand, which is more by 6.7% than in the same period last year (18 million 646 thousand trips).
