Foreign Ministry issues a special note to citizens of Uzbekistan residing in Turkey

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul made a special note to citizens of Uzbekistan who are in Turkey or are planning to visit it.
As noted in the statement, the number of passport-related problems has increased dramatically among citizens of Uzbekistan, who are currently residing in Istanbul. These problems are mainly caused by theft, damage, loss and others.
The Consulate General provides legal-consular assistance to citizens in a timely manner. It also issues a certificate of repatriation within the established time frame.
It was reported that during the period from January 1 to September 1, 2019, the Consulate General provided practical assistance to 1328 citizens in returning home.
“Dear compatriots! The Embassy and Consulate General are taking appropriate measures to protect the legal rights of our citizens residing in Turkey.
