Bahrom Ashrafkhanov has been appointed Executive Director of the Off-Budgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance.
Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, born in 1969, worked in the system of the Finance Ministry from 2002 to 2006. In particular, in 2005-2007, he was the First Deputy Minister of Finance and in 2007-2016 - Head of the Treasury.
From 2016 to 2018, Ashrafkhanov served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation. In September 2018, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz. In February of this year, he became Deputy Minister of Finance for Social Affairs.
According to the press service of the Finance Ministry, Bahrom Ashrafkhanov is an expert in the field of public finance management with extensive knowledge and experience.
