Defense Minister of Uzbekistan pays an official visit to Tajikistan for first time in 28 years

Delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Defense Minister Bakhodir Kurbonov paid an official visit to Tajikistan on September 25, Khovar News reports.

It is worth noting that this is the first official visit of Uzbekistan’s Defense Minister to Tajikistan in 28 years.

The guests were accompanied by the head of the Tajik Ministry of Defense Sherali Mirzo.

Bakhodir Kurbonov visited the aviation department of the Tajik Military Institute at the Ministry of Defense.

Also, as part of a one-day trip, Kurbonov visited the Alisher Navoi Park of Culture and Recreation as well as the National Museum of Tajikistan.
