Mirziyoyev’s participation in the Victory Day parade in Moscow not yet considered
The issue of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's participation in the parade on the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Second World War in Moscow has not yet been discussed, deputy director of the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan Sanjar Valiyev said.
“So far, such a question has not been posed for elaboration. Even the organizers - the Russian side - have not provided any invitations. We know about the parade, but we have no information at the official level,” the Institute’s representative told Kun.uz.
Valiyev noted that participation of the president of Uzbekistan will most likely be considered next year: “I think this is the subject of discussion next year”.
He also added that Uzbekistan plans to host a number of major events in honor of the holiday, and preparations for them have already begun.
