Shavkat Mirziyoyev departs for Surkhandarya region

Today, October 17, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Surkhandarya region, the presidential press service reported.

Within the framework of the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will familiarize himself with the progress of construction and landscaping activities carried out in the region. Also, observing the state of work on major projects and holding a dialogue with local people is expected.

Earlier it was reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev returned from Baku, where he participated at the seventh summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States.
