Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives Security Council Secretary of Russia
On October 31, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Security Council Secretary of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev, who is on a working visit in Uzbekistan.

According to the presidential press service, at the beginning of the conversation, Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted the dynamic development of Uzbek-Russian relations, strengthening of strategic partnership and alliance in recent years thanks to a regular and fruitful dialogue between the leaders of the two countries.
The parties examined current aspects of multifaceted cooperation, international and regional policies, including the prospects for a peaceful settlement of the situation in Afghanistan.

Particular attention was paid to issues of interaction in the fight against modern challenges and threats to security, expansion of practical partnership in the military and military-technical spheres.
