Shavkat Mirziyoyev, PM of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin discuss expanding cooperation in banking and financial spheres

Today, November 1, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the SCO Council of Heads of Government meeting.

According to the presidential press service, Mirziyoyev noted with satisfaction that the regular confidential meetings of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, and the agreements reached following these meetings have helped to strengthen the centuries-old Uzbek-Kazakh friendship ties and further intensified strategic partnership.

Askar Mamin expressed his sincere gratitude to the President for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings and best wishes from the first President of Kazakhstan - Nursultan Nazarbayev and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During the meeting, the established constructive political dialogue, the growth of mutual trade, and expanding cooperation in investment, banking, financial, transport-communication and other areas were highlighted.

Topical issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as international and regional policies were considered.
