A construction company misappropriates 2.3 billion soums of state funds

Recently, employees of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office checked the activities of the SUE “Tibbiyot qurilish”, which operates under the Ministry of Health.

According to the press service of the supervisory body, in 2016-2019, the aforementioned company used various criminal methods and misappropriated 2.3 billion soums. In particular, under the pretext of building, repairing and disinfecting buildings, they transferred money to various fake companies.

In addition, in order to legalize the proceeds, they purchased Labo, Nexia-3, Cobalt, Lacetti and Malibu-2 cars.

To date, officials of the company have compensated the state for damage in the amount of 1.1 billion soums. A criminal case has been initiated against detainees under the relevant Articles of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
