Customs officers destroy a large batch of pyrotechnics and bioadditives worth 4.2 billion soums
In the Bukhara region, more than 102,000 units of pyrotechnic products were destroyed by customs officers and representatives of relevant departments.
According to the State Customs Committee, by the decision of the Almazar district court on criminal proceedings, in the Bukhara region, pyrotechnic products in the amount of 102,118 units and biologically active additives of unknown quality in the amount of 5,613 units with a total value of 4 billion 200 million soums were destroyed by customs officers and representatives of relevant departments.
It is noted that during an operational event held in the Zangiata district (Tashkent region), employees of the SCC Department for Anti-Smuggling and Customs Infringements detained citizen A. A. red-handed while he was selling 67,290 units of pyrotechnic products.
A criminal case has been opened on the above violation under the relevant article of the Criminal Code and forwarded to investigating bodies.
Also, employees of the SCC, during customs control in the Bukhara region, discovered that pyrotechnic products and biologically active additives in large quantities were hidden from the committee officers.
A criminal case has also been instituted on the revealed fact of the offense under the relevant article of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
