Today, November 27, UzInvest forum, dedicated to investment potential of Uzbekistan, is taking place in London.
As Kun.uz correspondent reports, officials of the government of Uzbekistan, representatives of foreign financial institutions, local and foreign businessmen are attending the event.
The forum was opened by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the UK Said Rustamov.
Also, in the event’s introduction part, First Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Laziz Kudratov, Head of the PR-Center under the AIMC Akram Mukhamatkulov, Macro-Advisory Partner Christopher Weafer, Senior Analyst at PRISM Risk Assessment Agency Benjamin Godwin, head of the SmartGov Consulting Aziza Umarova and the ILO Senior Advisor to Uzbekistan Jonas Astrup delivered speeches on the processes of modernization in Uzbekistan.
In the course of the event, Uzbekistan will be at the center of discussions. In addition, it is expected that officials from Uzbekistan, international experts and businessmen will deliver speeches on banking and equity, privatization, fiscal policy and many other topics.
