Tashkent-Namangan flight delayed due to dense fog

Due to heavy fog, Namangan International Airport is temporarily closed.

Uzbekistan Airways informs that due to the deterioration of meteorological conditions at the airport in Namangan (heavy fog, poor visibility), flight HY-669 Tashkent-Namangan was rescheduled for 12:30.

Earlier it was reported that weather conditions at the Namangan Airport did not improve for a long time, which led to flight delays.

During one of such delays, a conflict arose between passengers and the flight attendant of Uzbekistan Airways. As a result, five passengers were taken off the flight by police officers, including an aggressive passenger who injured a senior flight attendant, which led to the replacement of an aircraft crew member.
