Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Japan
On December 17, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as part of his official visit to Japan, arrived in Nagoya.
At the Chūbu Centrair International Airport, Mirziyoyev was met by Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Shinichi Nakatani, Nagoya Mayor Takashi Kawamura and other officials.

The main events of the visit will begin on December 18.
The President of Uzbekistan will hold a number of bilateral meetings and attend events in Nagoya and Tokyo.
Negotiations with the leaders of Aichi Prefecture and City Hall will be held in Nagoya. It is also planned to visit Nagoya University.


On the same day, meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of Japan Tarō Asō, activists of the Uzbekistan-Japan Parliamentary Friendship League and representatives of leading Japanese companies and banks are also scheduled.
