President Mirziyoyev receives Finance Minister of Japan Tarō Asō
On the afternoon of December 18, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Japanese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Tarō Asō at the Akasaka residence in Tokyo.
According to the presidential press service, Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted with deep satisfaction the consistent strengthening of the Uzbek-Japanese friendship and strategic partnership, as well as expanding trade and economic cooperation.
The fruitful results of the business forum with the participation of a number of companies and banks of the two countries on the eve of the visit at the highest level were highly appreciated.
The sides discussed the prospects for increasing investment, technological and financial cooperation, as well as promoting joint projects in the energy, agriculture and other sectors.

The importance of bilateral agreements in the field of taxation and customs signed during the visit, which will create favorable conditions for the development of long-term business contacts, was noted.
