Shavkat Mirziyoyev concludes his official visit to Japan, departs for St. Petersburg
The official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Japan has ended.
Following the number of bilateral meetings and joint events in Nagoya and Tokyo, significant agreements were reached.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev held meetings in Tokyo with Emperor of Japan Naruhito, Prime Minister Shinzō Abe, leaders of parliament and members of the government, as well as heads of leading Japanese companies.
Within the framework of the visit, a joint statement was signed on further deepening and expanding the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Japan. Also, a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents, as well as investment agreements and trade contracts were inked.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, concluding his visit to Japan, departed for St. Petersburg to participate in the informal Summit of the CIS Heads of State.
