Shavkat Mirziyoyev meets with Emperor of Japan Naruhito

On December 20, in Tokyo, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Emperor of Japan Naruhito.

The Emperor, welcoming the head of Uzbekistan, noted that this visit is an important event in strengthening the Uzbek-Japanese friendship and strategic partnership, which brings bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed deep respect to Emperor Naruhito and emphasized that in the new era of the “Reiwa” harmonious development will continue, the international prestige of the country and the welfare of its population will further grow.

In honor of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his spouse Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, a reception was held on behalf of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako. A joint photographing was also held.
