Sheep slaughtered in Kashkadarya for trampling over fields

Recently, information was circulated on social networks, in which the khokim of Kashkadarya Zoyir Mirzayev had ordered to slaughter sheep as they had trampled on fields inadvertently.

Reportedly, the order to the head of the regional agriculture department Akram Aripov was given by the khokim Zoyir Mirzayev. At the same time, the press service of the regional administration denied this fact.

Akram Aripov noted that 21 sheep trampled on the fields of “Otamurod ota” farm in the Nishan district. He said that on an order of the regional khokim, the sheep were slaughtered, and the meat was distributed to poor families and agricultural technicians.

Later, the head of the regional administration’s press service Akhror Sadikov contacted Akram Aripov. It turned out that Zoyir Mirzayev really ordered to take measures under the law, but he did not order to slaughter the sheep.

Currently, a kind of official investigation is ongoing in Kashkadarya.

It should be recalled that on October 26, 2019, an extraordinary session of the regional council of people’s deputies was held in Karshi. During the event, Zoyir Mirzayev was appointed acting khokim of the Kashkadarya region.

Zoyir Mirzayev became especially famous after an incident in the Akkurgan district, Tashkent region. On October 27, 2018, a photo of six men, standing in a ditchwater near the cotton field, went viral on social networks. Then it became known that the ex-deputy PM decided to punish the farmers for not fulfilling the plan on cotton harvest.
