Granny of a patient beats a nurse, inflicting serious injury on her head 

A nurse was hospitalized with concussion in Surkhandarya region.

It should be recalled that a video was previously published on social networks, in which a woman beats a nurse.

As the press service of the Health Ministry reported, she was beaten by the grandmother of a two-year-old patient. The incident was recorded on January 5 this year in the diversified medical center of Surkhandarya region, when the child with a high temperature was brought to hospital. The patient was accompanied by uncle and grandmother. 

“To provide first aid, the nurse measured the temperature. It turned out that the child had a high fever. The nurse told relatives that she would bring the child into the room to put paracetamol candles on him, but suddenly the child’s grandmother began to insult the nurse and beat her,” the ministerial press service said.

Despite this, the patient was given first aid. The child, diagnosed with an acute respiratory infection, was referred to a hospital for treatment. 

The nurse was taken to the traumatology department of the emergency medical center’s regional branch. She was diagnosed with concussion. 

Documents about the attack on the nurse were submitted to the Internal Affairs Directorate and the prosecutor’s office. Currently, the situation is under the control of the Health Ministry.
