Finance Ministry publicizes average salary of citizens in 2019
The Ministry of Finance has publicized the dynamics of salary level in Uzbekistan in January-November 2019 based on the data from the State Tax Committee.
As of November 2019, the majority of the population (43.6%) received salaries up to 1 million soums – 1,761,007 people. In January 2019 – 1,855,361 (50.7%).
The number of employees, who earn up to 2 million soums, increased by 0.2%. In January 2019, this indicator accounted for 27.5% (1,007,788 people), in November last year – 27.7% (1,118,827 people).
The number of citizens, who earn up to 4 million soums, rose almost by 4% – in January 2019 – 16.8% (613,528 people), in November 2019 – 20.0% (806,891 people).
In addition, the number of employees, who earn up to 5.5 million soums, increased. In January 2019, this indicator accounted for 2.6% (96,549 people), in November last year – 4.3% (172,444 people).
The number of people earning over 5.5 million soums also increased. In January 2019 – 2.4% (87,388 people), in November 2019 – 4.3% (175,483 people).
