Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives Sergey Lavrov

Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Acting Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in Tashkent, TASS writes.

Earlier, Lavrov, who is in Uzbekistan on an official visit, held talks with the Foreign Minister of the country Abdulaliz Kamilov. As Lavrov noted at the beginning of the meeting, preparations are underway for Mirziyoyev’s upcoming visit to Russia in February.

As TASS notes, Uzbekistan is the last country in the framework of Lavrov’s tour of Asia. He had previously visited Sri Lanka and India.
