Media: First joint session of the newly elected Chambers of Parliament will be held on January 21

The first joint session of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of Oliy Majlis will be held on Tuesday, January 21, Kun.uz source reported.

According to the source, the newly elected deputies and senators will be issued certificates on January 19. The first meeting of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate will be held on January 20, during which the President will address separately the representatives of both chambers.

On January 21, a joint session of the parliamentary chambers will be held, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev will deliver a speech. In addition, the head of state will address the Oliy Majlis next week.

According to another source, the meeting may be held at the International Congress Hall in the “Tashkent city” area.
