The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On consideration of the personal responsibility of certain leaders”.
According to the document, due to the lack of organizational work in the transport sector and in order to increase the personal responsibility of executive leaders:
- Ilham Makhkamov has been dismissed from the post of First Deputy Minister of Transport and is appointed Acting First Deputy Minister;
- Davron Dekhkanov has been dismissed from the post of Deputy Minister of Transport and is appointed Acting Deputy Minister;
- Abdurakhman Abduvaliyev has been dismissed from the post of Deputy Minister of Transport – Chairman of the Committee on Roads and is appointed Acting Deputy Minister – Chairman of the Committee on Roads;
- Tolib Uljayev has been dismissed from the post of director of the civil aviation agency and is appointed acting director of this agency;
- Doniyor Akhmedov has been dismissed from the post of head of the inspectorate for supervision of railway transportation safety and is appointed acting head of this inspectorate;
- Fakhriddin Salikhov has been dismissed from the post of head of the inspectorate for monitoring the quality of road construction works and is appointed acting head of this inspectorate.
It should be recalled that in the course of his address to the parliament, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev criticized the transport sector of the republic.
