Innovation Ministry of Uzbekistan, UNICEF to cooperate in the field of digital technology
The Ministry of Innovative Development held a meeting with the Principal Advisor in UNICEF’s Office of Innovation Christopher Fabian, the ministerial press-service reported.
The parties discussed issues in the field of innovative development, support for young scientists and their startup projects, as well as promising projects to ensure access for residents of remote settlements in the country to modern technologies in education and in the field of robotics.
UNICEF Chief Advisor on Innovations Christopher Fabian, a specialist in the integration of blockchain technology with the public services system, praised the effective and timely measures taken by the Government of Uzbekistan to digitalize the economy and all types of social services provided by the state.
They talked about the results of ongoing work to support young scientists of Uzbekistan on the platforms of the Youth Academy, and discussed the prospects for cooperation with UNICEF.
The parties agreed to closely cooperate in the implementation of promising projects to digitalize the proposed public services in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as jointly contribute to the study of the prospects for using blockchain tools in the public sector.
