Number of requirements to be canceled in the construction sphere

This is stated in the presidential decree “On measures to radically improve the quality of construction-installation works and improve the control system in the sphere”.

In particular, from March 1 of this year, the requirement to carry out state construction control of capital repair facilities is canceled, with the exception of facilities financed from the state budget.

In addition, the existing procedures for licensing completed construction projects are phased out with the introduction of the procedure for issuing permits for their operation by the construction inspection institute and territorial inspections in time:

- for objects of low risk category regardless of funding sources – from May 1, 2020;

- for facilities financed by public procurement entities – from January 1, 2022;

- for objects financed from other sources – from January 1, 2021.
