The training department of the Central Military District has compiled a rating of the largest and modern military training camps in the Uzbek army, military journalist, Captain Gayrat Madrakhimov reports.
According to him, the “Kattakurgan” military training camp under the Central Military District spearheads in terms of territory and modern requirements, as well as the possibility of firing aviation and artillery.
The next place is occupied by the “Forish” mountain training camp in the Jizzakh region. Last year, 16 tactical and special trainings were held there with the participation of representatives from the Armed Forces of the US, France, Great Britain, India, Russia, Turkey, Pakistan and China. In 2019, for the first time, Uzbekistan hosted the International Army Games.
The “Bukhara” (3rd place) field training camp of the Southwestern Special Military District is a convenient place for training personnel of the law enforcement agencies. Annual specialized competitions are held there. The “Nukus” military training camp of the Northwestern Military District is in the 4th place.
“Shursuv” and “Gurumsaroy” military training camps (5th place) in the Eastern Military District are distinguished by their comfortable location for holding plenty of parachute jumping exercises. The “Muborak” and “Nuriston” field training camps in the Kashkadarya region ranked 6th and 7th respectively, the “Termez” military training camp - 8th.
The “Chirchik” (9th place) military training camp in the Tashkent Military District is distinguished by its convenience for holding military parades. It also serves for training the cadets of three higher military educational institutions.
The “Sazagan” military training camp of the Samarkand garrison concludes the TOP-10 list. Its official opening is scheduled for March 14 this year.
