Malaysian company eyes to open a pilot training center in Uzbekistan

Executive Director of the Midlands Aviation Asia Pacific SDN BHD of Malaysia Raj Daryraj, at a meeting at the Transport Ministry of Uzbekistan, announced his intention to open a pilot training center in Urgench, the ministerial press service reported.
“The Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiyev, acquainted foreign guests, who are interested in new investment projects, with reforms in the field of civil aviation. Raj Daryraj, Executive Director of Midlands Aviation Asia Pacific, announced his desire to organize a pilot training center and a logistics hub in Urgench. He also presented his projects,” the report said.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to create a special working group.
It should be recalled that on October 1, 2019, the “open sky” regime using the “fifth air freedom” has been introduced at the international airports of four cities of the republic – Nukus, Karshi, Termez and Bukhara.
