Shavkat Mirziyoyev comments on the increase in car prices

“Now, you all see how the decision of the leaders of our automotive industry to raise car prices caused discontent among people. It may be economically feasible, but in the current conditions, it is wrong a step. We should make life easier for the people. Each decision needs to be pondered over not seven, but seventy times. First, it is necessary to strengthen the purchasing power of our people,” the President said.

Mirziyoyev noted that the transition to a market economy is a complex process, but Uzbekistan will continue to follow this path.

It should be recalled that recently UzAuto Motors announced new car prices. On average, prices rose by 15-21 percent.
