Uzbekistan reaches agreement with the Benelux countries and Denmark to extend citizens’ stay

Citizens of Uzbekistan in these countries are strongly encouraged to appeal to the local migration office before their visas expire.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs addressed to the citizens of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries.

According to the Uzbek Embassy in Brussels, since March 16, 2020, an operational headquarters at the diplomatic mission has been operating to respond to appeals of citizens of Uzbekistan, residing in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Denmark.

The Embassy has reached an agreement with the Benelux countries and the Danish authorities to extend the stay of Uzbek citizens. In this regard, citizens of Uzbekistan in these countries are strongly encouraged to appeal to the local migration office before their visas expire.

It is reported that during the quarantine period, the Embassy will provide consular-legal services remotely (without a direct visit).
