State Statistics Committee: Prices for food products increased by 1.9% in March

In Uzbekistan, the growth in the average level of consumer prices in March 2020 amounted to 1.3% against 0.8% in February, the State Statistics Committee reported.
In January-March this year, prices in the consumer market increased by an average of 2.8%.
In annual terms (by March 2019), the average increase in prices for goods and services amounted to 13.6%.
According to the State Statistics Committee, prices for food products increased by 1.9% in March, non-food products – by 0.9% and services – 0.8%.
