The number of people infected with coronavirus has increased by 6 and reached 187 in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Health Ministry said.
Out of 187 patients, 12 have already recovered from the virus. They were discharged from the hospital and sent to a rehabilitation center.
Two death cases have been confirmed so far - one in Tashkent and one in the Namangan region.
Earlier, Chief State Sanitary Doctor Nurmat Otabekov said that Uzbekistan is not planning to conduct mass testing of the population for coronavirus.
