National Guard officers rescue a woman drowning in a canal in Tashkent

On April 7, at 09:45, in Tashkent, an unknown passer-by appealed to security officers of the National Guard, performing duties near the Kichkirik canal, which runs along the Karasaray Street in the Almazar district and informed that a woman was drowning in the canal.

As the National Guard press service reported, officers immediately arrived at the scene. They promptly took all necessary security measures with the help of a rope and rescued the citizen, who was grasping a tree along the canal. After then she was provided with the first medical aid.

The woman was taken to the Department of Internal Affairs No. 6 of the Almazar district, where she received the necessary medical assistance.

Currently, the causes of the incident are being studied.
